PLB Group, Team Training SessionThe FM first aid training was excellent. Faisal is a great instructor who genuinely cared about first aid and training. A very balanced learning experience that fitted a number of delegate needs. I recently attended a First Aid Course with F M First Aid Training. I entered the class and was instantly made to feel very welcome. Faisal was an outstanding tutor.He explained everything perfectly, he is very diligent and delivered the course in a friendly manner. I really enjoyed the first aid course taught by Faisal Mahmood. Faisal made the course a lot of fun which meant the course material really sunk in well. I recently did the emergency first aid at work course as I am starting my own business. It was such a great experience doing this through FM First Aid Training. Faisal was superb - not only was the course well planned and thought through, but the way it was presented and facilitated was really well done. It felt like a safe environment from the start and laughter, learning and questions were encouraged. I'd really recommend it.

Met by Faisal for registration and felt immediately at ease..The course was very informative and well balanced through the day and at each stage he asked if everyone understood the information given ( including when questions from the class was asked ) and at all times he engaged all of the class directly.At all times, everything was explained logically, so that when someone wasn't clear on the information ( he always made eye contact), he focused on ensuring they understood in a calm methodical way.I would recommend him for his professional manner and his first rate knowledge of the service he provides.You will gain critical, potentially life saving knowledge from his class, you will feel self confident walking out of the room and you will understand how important being a first responder is with his teachings in mind.You will learn at a positive pace for everyone in the class, the skills that CAN be the difference between watching someone in distress and feeling powerless to help .. to stepping forward and taking control and them going home to family.This is a refresher for me however, however these skills are essential for more than one reason as i will explain below.. some years ago, out with 30 other motorbikes we came across a cyclist who came off her bike, she was stunned and bleeding from hitting the road. I carry a few kits and used my basic first aid to be there and calm the situation down as we waited for the professionals.I thought, ok, patched her up ( 2 plasters ) and handed her over to the ambulance.. got home, had a beer and forgot about it.A few weeks later I had a call from the lady ( I left my details ) who then thanked me and got very emotional. She told me she was out cycling to generate money for raising awareness on first aid courses to help people. So having had an accident, a total stranger stepped forward and did exactly what she was trying to promote.You as a first aider will make that difference even when you think you don't.. Faisal is one of those good teachers and you will leave his class having the confidence to use the skills when needed.

Brilliant trainer and training program (Level 3 - EFAW)This is the second time I have taken this certification with Faisal over the years. I have to say, Scott Allan's review of Faisal is spot on. I would also add Faisal has terrific cleaning protocols for anyone who might have any concerns with sharing dummies etc. For a second time, I highly recommend Faisal's course.

Lots of trainee participation, as well as visual and written work, makes this course suitable for anyone, whatever your preferred way to learn.Faisal is a great teacher. I had my first aid training with Faisal today and it was amazing. I’ve done first aid before but this was something different. The day was planned well, everything was well explained and shown. The activities were interactive and the course was so informative. Faisal was brilliant and explained everything thoroughly. I attended a First Aid day course yesterday, and I have to say that the tutor Faisal was excellent. He geared the course to all of us there (so not too slow or too fast), and ensured that there was a good mix of theory and practical; in the morning and afternoon.The important point was that he kept us all 'actively' listening throughout the whole day, which is some feat when you are getting tired; and we were all surprised by everything we remembered at the very end - covering the whole day.I would definitely recommend attending classes with this tutor, as his knowledge and friendly manner; makes you feel comfortable and at ease from the very beginning; so all questions or answers you give/have is not considered as stupid or unimportant.

I recently took a First Aid course with Faisal and it was fantastic. Our team of eight had first aid training with FM First Aid Training yesterday. We all agreed that the day was 100% from every angle. I completed the Level 3 Emeregncy First Aid course today with Faisal as the instructor. I had no prior practical knowledge of how to administer emergency first aid properly, so I found the course really very useful and informative. Faisal was great- his instructions were clear and easy to follow and he had excellent knowledge of the subject matter. He was happy to answer any questions and provide additional instruction where needed. I feel much more confident that I could help someone in an emergency than I did prior to doing this course. Well paced, engaging, professional delivery. Faisal is very good at encouraging everybody to participate and ensures that the course material is understood. The last session felt a bit hurried (to me), maybe look to finish at scheduled time (rather than 1/2 hr earlier).

Amazing learning experience! It's great to now have the knowledge and confidence to actually help if the situation arises. Faisal was a very good trainer with tons of insight and he was hugely patient as due to childcare issues we had to have children and a dog running around while he was teaching us. Honestly, that man has the patience of a saint and very professional! Would highly recommend! Thank you! :)

Surprised to say I really enjoyed my Emergency First Aid at Work course. Faisal delivered the training in a fun but professional manner which helped me to remember the key points and hopefully not panic in a real emergency situation. A day I thought was going to be a boring first aid day, really wasn’t boring at all! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I completed a Level 3 course today with FM First Aid Training for my job, and I am very happy with how it went. The trainer I had was Faisal Mahmood, and he was extremely kind to me. I get very squeamish when anything blood-related comes up, sometimes to the point of feeling like I’m about to faint. Faisal picked up on that immediately and took me to one side to see if I was alright. With his support and encouragement, I was able to successfully complete the course. Aside from that, he explained everything clearly and professionally, let us ask all our questions, and put a humorous spin on quite a few aspects which has helped me remember them a lot better. It’s a fantastic course and I have come away feeling much more knowledgeable

I have just completed a First Aid at work level 3 training day with Faisal Mahmood as the trainer. I have completed first aid training before but this was run so that it was informative and still interesting. Faisal was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. There was a mix of practical and theoretical work. I have come away feeling like my own knowledge has really been refreshed and added to. Great use of equipment too such as using a defibrillator and a choking vest which provided fun learning opportunities too!

As youth worker I am first said trained but recently becoming a new parents I was nervous of my lack of knowledge on first aid for young children and babies. Due to work and a young baby my husband and I were unable to get to evening classes locally so I contacted Faisal directly who came to our home to do the 2 hour session for us and our parents. I cannot recommend him enough. He is very professional and committed to ensuring we got what we wanted from the session and as a result we feel ready and prepared should an emergency happen. FM training is great value for money and excellent delivery.

The level 3 is thorough, interactive and really engaging. Faisal approaches the subject with complete professionalism but is able to make a difficult topic fun to learn. Initially I was intimidated by the idea of a full day first aid course as the only newbie in my group but the session was led in an informative but laid back fashion and everything started from basics so I wasn't playing catch-up. Faisal was very thorough and knowledgeable and I learned so much in one day. I’ve been on many first aid training courses and can honestly say that this course was up there with the best of them. The course was personalized for the attendees’ work places and information was delivered in a variety of ways. I particularly liked the clever way that the information was repeated through talking, visual aids, practical exercises, written questions/answer sessions, practical assessments, refresher quick fire quizzes, and simulated scenarios. I feel the different approaches helped me recap and retain the information. In addition the approach gave everyone the opportunity to clarify any misconceptions and for Faisal to deliver the latest advice in first aid practises. This was the first time I had seen an opened DFib and welcomed the opportunity to have a go at using one in training mode on a manikin. I highly recommend Faisal, he is very knowledgeable, excellent at engaging his trainees, caring and sensitive to the information shared within the group, and professional.

This was the best first aid training I have ever been on and I’ve been on many during my working life I would highly recommend Faisal as a trainer he is super professional without being stuffy or boring he really knows his subject and is really approachable when asked any questions etc. The day was full of practical assessments which by the end of the day meant I felt so much more confident if I was to ever be in a situation where I needed to administer CPR or first aid. Having attended first aid training previously I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the day as much as I did or to learn as much as I did. Faisal is an extremely good trainer who I would highly recommend. I came away from the course feeling quietly confident that I would know what to do in a number of situations especially CPR which we practiced and came back to several times throughout the day. Faisal was professional, friendly and sensitive to any concerns raised. It was the best First Aid course I’ve been on. I don’t feel overwhelmed with information and I feel that what I learned will stay with me.

Having had a private training session with a group of 6 people I can highly recommend this. Not only is it necessary and ideal for work it is a great for personal us day to day for confidence in case it was ever needed. This particular session was better than others I have previously done due to Faisal and his great ability to train in a knowledgeable and efficient way. We progressed through the day, asking many questions, it was extremely useful and informative. Definitely recommend this particular course.

Faisal is an engaging facilitator who knows his subject matter inside and out! I had a fantastic day completing my Emergency First Aid at Work training with a small group of 11 (full class size) which meant we got plenty of practical, hands on experience. The training session was conducted in a modern, light filled office at Spaces Marlow with a deli in the building offering great food and tea/coffee. The price of Faisal's course is hard to beat as well. Highly recommended.

Faisal has delivered first aid level 2 qualified training at my workplace, in a relaxed but very professional & knowledgeable manner. I have attended first aid courses in the past (other providers/trainers) and would probably say today was the best to date. Although the comprehensive content was serious and potentially life saving knowledge, that we all hope to not have to use, it was actually an enjoyable day. He had excellent interpersonal skills & taught us in a friendly way, that made us all feel comfortable to both ask & answer questions; bringing a humour with him & useful memory methods too. The balance between theory & practical was spot on and having repeated the most important aid several times throughout the day, by 4pm we all felt more confident and that we’d learnt a lot. Faisal was patient and went at a pace to suit us but ensured he kept us on track to professionally finish on time. We will all be recommending him. I found the training more than helpful. Faisal is very professional but also creates a friendly atmosphere. I hope I will never have to implement the skills I have acquired however I'm reassured in knowing I have the knowledge! I would highly recommend this course to anyone :)
